So, we already have the transcript of President Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Zelenksy, so I guess we’re supposed to be impressed by this?

A second whistleblower has come forward, this one with first-hand information about events that triggered an impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump, the informant’s lawyer said Sunday.

The original whistleblower alleged Trump abused his power as president by attempting to withhold US military aid to pressure his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky into seeking damaging information on political rival Joe Biden.

Here’s what we know: The Trump/Zelenksy transcript was a nothing-burger and the whistleblower complaint was based on secondhand information. So we already knew there were others with more direct knowledge of the call… but that doesn’t matter, because we have the transcript of the call. What more is a second whistleblower gonna give us except to provide the “appearance” of corroboration?
